Women's rosary, green onyx, 8-inch, Soto Zen sect, made to order

$171.00 USD

Green onyx rosary of the Soto sect.

Onyx is famous for its black onyx, but it is a stone that comes in various colors, including green and white.

Once upon a time, onyx was considered a "charm to ward off evil," and it is a power stone that has been used as a talisman and amulet to ward off evil since ancient times.

Because it has been used as a talisman to ward off evil thoughts and bad energy,
it is believed that if a person who is easily emotional wears it, it will suppress their excitement and become more rational.

The pale green color reminiscent of fresh green leaves has both feminine calmness and vividness,
so anyone can wear it regardless of age.
The tassels are made in light green to match the green onyx,
making this rosary with a soft impression.

About the Soto Zen sect

The shape of the Soto Zen rosary is very similar to that of the Rinzai sect, but a distinctive feature of the Soto Zen sect is that the rosary has a metal ring running through it.
It is unclear why it is there, but one theory is that the ring represents Bodhidharma.
