About International Shipping
EMS / FedEx
At Kohgen, we ship internationally using either EMS (Express Mail Service) or FedEx.
Both are reliable international delivery services suitable for sending gifts overseas as well as shipping items for personal or business use.
The shipping carrier (EMS or FedEx) will be selected by our store based on the destination country, package contents, delivery conditions, and overall shipping stability at the time of dispatch.
Please note that customers cannot choose the shipping carrier.
The shipping fee will not change depending on whether EMS or FedEx is used, as the total shipping cost is automatically calculated and confirmed at checkout.
You can enter your overseas shipping address directly at checkout.
Please select your destination country and fill in the required address fields as displayed.
For applicable international orders, the shipping fee will be calculated by our store based on the order contents and destination.
The shipping fee will be added to your order total and paid together at checkout.
Your order will be confirmed once the combined payment has been completed.
Please note: International deliveries may be delayed due to transportation conditions, customs clearance, or flight availability depending on the country or region.
In rare cases, if shipping becomes unavailable after acceptance, the shipment may be returned and the shipping fee refunded.
Thank you for your understanding.

Package Insurance
EMS Shipments
For orders over ¥20,000 or for fragile items such as ceramic incense holders, you can add EMS shipping insurance to cover damage or loss during transit.
Please refer to the EMS compensation system below for details regarding coverage and fees.
If you would like to add EMS insurance, please let us know at the time of your order.
Additional charges will apply.

Customs Duties & Tax
Any customs duties, import taxes, or other fees imposed by the destination country are the responsibility of the recipient.
These charges are not included in the product price or shipping fee, and we are unable to provide specific guidance as they vary depending on each country’s regulations.
For detailed information regarding customs duties and import taxes, please contact the customs authorities in your destination country.
This shipment is sent on a DDU (Delivered Duties Unpaid) basis, which means that customs duties, import taxes, and any related charges are not included in the amount paid at checkout and may be collected upon delivery by the local customs authorities.
Please note: Depending on the regulations of each country, shipments may be subject to customs clearance procedures and import duties.
In general, the obligation to pay any customs-related charges lies with the importer/recipient, and we are not responsible for these costs.

Additional Notice for Customers in the United States
In recent years, U.S. import regulations have changed, and certain shipments that were previously exempt from duties may now be subject to customs duties or taxes.
As a result, there may be cases where U.S. customers are required to pay import-related charges upon delivery.
Please be aware of this possibility before placing your order, and kindly check the latest import regulations with U.S. Customs and Border Protection if necessary.
