Crafted in Kyoto, this prayer beads bag pairs traditional Japanese design with everyday practicality for carrying a juzu to temple visits, memorial services, and funerals. It is decorated with the Mimasu (three nested boxes) motif, one of the popular "actor crests" (yakusha monyo) of the Edo period and the family crest of the kabuki acting house of Ichikawa Danjuro.
