An uncommon bracelet-style prayer bead strand made from Indian bodhi seed, prized for its rarity and considered the king of all bodhi seed varieties. The tree grows in the region between China and India, and its fruit has a distinctive cork-like texture; splitting the seed reveals a heart-shaped hollow inside. Because of that hollow interior, only a limited number of beads can be cut from any one seed, and the seeds themselves are difficult to harvest, making this an especially scarce material. Made up in Tendai sect formal style.
