It is paired with green onyx, the birthstone for October, for the parent and four-heaven beads; onyx has long been treasured as a protective talisman said to ward off evil and sharpen resolve, and its soft green suits any age. Finished with a willow-green tassel to match, with an inner diameter of approximately 17.0 cm.
