This men's prayer beads set uses the rare betel palm wood (binro), a hard Southeast Asian palm trunk wood with a distinctive striped grain not found in Japanese timbers, made in the "Sanso Hokke" style reserved for men within the Nichiren sect's Hokke tradition. It is paired with aventurine (Indian jade) for the parent and four-heaven beads; aventurine is traditionally associated with health, longevity, and virtue, and is believed to support good relationships.
