Good-quality amber prayer beads are hard to come by, and aged amber – amber that has continued to develop and deepen in color over an even longer period of time – is rarer still, with much of the finest material long since sold into the Chinese market. Ordinary yellow amber gradually shifts toward orange when exposed to heat over long stretches of time; this piece began as a yellow amber that, over years of gentle geothermal warmth, matured into a rich, solid orange tone we're pleased to recommend with confidence. Amber is also notably lightweight, making it comfortable to wear for extended periods without fatigue. Only one piece is available, and a rosary storage bag is included at no charge.
