This desktop incense burner has a simple, classic rounded silhouette suited to everyday use on a desk or tea table. It is offered in three traditional sizes, each available either fully polished or with a decorative color finish.

This piece is a product of Takaoka copperware (Takaoka Doki), a metal casting tradition centered in Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture, for over 400 years, cast here in brass.

Design Variations

• 3.0 Sun Polished / 3.0 Sun Color Finish — the smallest size, in a bright polished brass finish or a decorative color finish
• 3.5 Sun Polished / 3.5 Sun Color Finish — a mid-size option, in polished or color finish
• 4.0 Sun Polished / 4.0 Sun Color Finish — the largest size, in polished or color finish

Sizes are given in "sun," a traditional Japanese unit of measurement; the higher the number, the larger the burner.

How to Use

Place a layer of incense ash inside the burner, then set a lit incense cone, stick, or piece of incense charcoal on top of the ash to enjoy the fragrance.
