The Traditional Incense series is a heritage collection created using abundant aromatic woods such as precious agarwood and high-quality Indian sandalwood, blended according to time-honored methods passed down through generations. Each fragrance represents a distinct classical expression, revealing the natural character of aromatic woods through the opening impression, the burning aroma, and the lingering after-scent.

Saimeikoh

Saimeikoh is a traditional incense characterized by the gentle and composed fragrance of Siam agarwood. This high-grade incense is generously blended with Vietnamese Siam agarwood, which forms the heart of its aroma.

The naturally sweet character of Siam agarwood is complemented by Indonesian sandalwood and borneol, creating a fresh and well-balanced fragrance that unfolds with clarity and ease. The blending method used for Saimeikoh has been preserved by Gyokushodo since the late Edo period, presenting the inherent sweetness and calm elegance of Siam agarwood in a straightforward and refined manner.
