Osagawa Nisaburo Shoten Shokoh Incense
Osagawa Nisaburo Shoten Shokoh Incense Series
Osagawa Nisaburo Shoten Shokoh Incense Series presents traditional powdered incense used for offering fragrance, a practice long rooted in Japanese Buddhist culture and daily remembrance.
Shokoh is gently heated rather than burned directly, allowing its fragrance to rise softly without strong smoke. It has been used at Buddhist altars, memorial services, and quiet moments of contemplation, where subtlety and depth of aroma are valued. This series is available in a generous 500 g size for regular use, as well as a 3 g trial size for those wishing to experience the fragrance first.
Tenryu-koh
A spicier fragrance with a slight bitterness from sandalwood. Blended with eight traditional herbal ingredients, this incense features a higher presence of sandalwood and clove, resulting in a dry, assertive, and crisp aromatic character.
Ranka-koh
A fragrance in which the presence of sandalwood is clearly expressed, blended with ten traditional herbal ingredients. The scent of borneol rises distinctly, adding a light and pleasant sense of coolness to the overall aroma.
Kushu-koh
A gently sweet aroma composed of ten traditional herbal ingredients blended with acacia. The fragrance feels rounded and mild, offering a soft and approachable impression.
