$33.00 USD

Created on the basis of Customers` feedback! Pure fragrance of Sandalwood.

Finally, after receiving a lot of requests from fans of this incense, Byakudan Shirayuki was reissued! Byakudan Shirayuki is the incense with the fragrance of pure Sandalwood. The soaring prices of raw Sandalwood material caused the disappearance of Byakudan Shirayuki for some time. After the cease of Byakudan Shirayuki production, Kunjudo Maker have received a lot of reaction from the Customers who were trying to find out where they can still buy this incense or that they don’t mind about a higher price, as long as they can still use this incense. Although the price increased by 1,000 JPY, thanks to many letters and mails from Customers who with regret thought about loosing this precious fragrance, Byakudan Shirayuki has been thankfully brought back to life. The characteristic feature of this fragrance is that it has been created without the use of traditional herbs and raw incense ingredients. It has been created just by blending charcoal with Sandalwood’s oil. That is why when the incense burns, on the top of charcoal aroma, a pure fragrance of Sandalwood can be enjoyed. Although among “Less Smoke Type” incenses sticks, Kunjodo has released also a similar one called “Koun”. The amount of Sandalwood material that we can find in Byakudan Shirayuki is much greater than in Koun, and thanks to it in Byakudan Shirayuki a very strong fragrance of Sandalwood can be felt. I addition, since the very beginning of its release Byakudan Shirakuki has been made in the form of square shaped sticks. By making it a square shaped and not round, the fragrance of this incense is clear and refreshing. Also, creating incense sticks in the square shape is a method that takes more time and effort. That is why there always have been less square shaped incense sticks. We would like to recommend this incense to all those who want to enjoy straightforward fragrance of Sandalwood. And for those, who want to enjoy a slightly lighter, neat aroma we would like to recommend “Koun”.
