This masterpiece pairs Burmese jade, among the most valuable varieties of jade, with the rare Indian bodhi seed – an unusual combination for women's prayer beads – with an intricate floral pattern carved into the Burmese jade. The Indian bodhi seed is the most expensive of all bodhi materials due to its limited fruit yield, considered the highest quality of all bodhi varieties; despite its rarity, this piece remains light and comfortable to wear for its size. As its name suggests, the Indian bodhi seed is harvested in India, but as it grows only at high altitudes, it is an exceptionally rare nut that we can only offer as stock allows. The Burmese jade used alongside it is distinguished by its green tone and unique patterning – the higher the grade, the greater its transparency and luster.
