Women's prayer beads, crystal, 8 inches, Soto sect, chalcedony finish, limited edition

$234.00 USD

Limited to one item! A crystal rosary for the Soto sect made with chalcedony.

This rosary is made of the classic crystal and chalcedony.
Crystal is the most common material for rosaries,
It is said to bring harmony to the home and workplace because adjacent crystals are formed at a certain angle.

Chalcedony is a natural stone with the same components as crystal, and opaque to translucent ones are collectively called chalcedony.

It is generally known for its pale and gentle blue color.
It has long been believed that the pale light blue color speaks of kindness, not liking conflict and trying to build friendly relationships, and there is also a legend that it is a stone that enhances friendship.

The chalcedony of the heavenly ball is a pale light blue natural stone with a gentle wave pattern on its surface.
The tassels are the same color, giving the beads a soft look, so they can be used by people of all ages.

About the Soto Zen sect

The shape of the Soto Zen sect's rosary is very similar to that of the Rinzai sect, but a distinctive feature of the Soto Zen sect is that the beads have a metal ring running through them.
It is unclear why this ring is included, but one theory is that the ring represents Bodhidharma.
