We present these prayer beads featuring Kongo Bodhi seed, whose distinctive surface pattern gives off a bold, masculine impression. In this piece, the patterned surface of the seed has been lacquered, and the deep tone of the lacquer complements the wood's warm coloring beautifully. The finish uses tiger's eye, said to bring good fortune in money matters, a stone especially popular for prayer bead accents. Note: the tassel on this piece is made of jinken (rayon), a synthetic fiber. Using a rayon tassel allowed us to lower costs and offer this piece at a more accessible price.
