Phoenix eye bodhi seed is the fruit of the bodhi tree native to India, named for the eye-like pattern on its surface, said to resemble the eye of the mythical one-eyed phoenix bird of ancient China. Its light brown surface gradually deepens to a rich amber color as the natural oils develop with use, making it the second most popular bodhi bead after starry bodhi. Finished here with bloodstone.
