Lapis lazuli, alongside quartz crystal, is regarded as one of the oldest and most powerful natural stones known today, revered around the world as a sacred stone believed to ward off evil spirits. As the traditional source material for ultramarine pigment, lapis lazuli is prized for its vivid, deep-sea blue color threaded with fine strands of gold. Large lapis lazuli beads suitable for men's prayer beads are especially rare and valuable. Only one piece is available.
