There are many kinds of bodhi trees, such as the starry moon bodhi tree, the longan bodhi tree, and the phoenix eye bodhi tree, but among them, the Indian bodhi tree is said to be the king of bodhi trees and is considered a rare material.
The reason why the Indian bodhi tree is a rare material is that it can only be found at high altitudes and is not available in large quantities.
The Indian bodhi tree is a nut.
It is very hard and has a gentle texture unique to nuts when you hold it.

The rosary shown here was made by making the heavenly beads and parent beads out of old amber.
Old amber refers to amber that has crystallized over a longer period of time than amber.
At first, the color was close to yellow, but as the years passed, geothermal heat gradually increased and the color became closer to orange.

★About the Soto Zen sect
The shape of the Soto Zen rosary is very similar to that of the Rinzai sect, but a distinctive feature of the Soto Zen sect is that the rosary has a metal ring running through it.
It is unclear why it is there, but one theory is that this ring represents Bodhidharma.
