Light yet hard, Indian bodhi seed is considered the finest and most valuable of all bodhi seed varieties, grown only at high altitude in India and available in limited quantity -- new stock can only be offered when it happens to come in. Each bead here is finished with an Arhat carving, named for the highest rank of enlightened disciple in Buddhism; the fine, intricate relief is entirely hand-carved, so no two beads are ever quite alike. It is paired with a notably large compressed amber bead, a material that is also very popular in its own right.
