"Hifumi" is Kohgen's adjustable prayer beads pouch, woven from multicolored thread into saaya-gata, a lattice of interlocking, swastika-derived lines that ranks among the most traditional geometric patterns in Japanese textile design. The weave gives the bag a rich, dimensional texture and an elegant, substantial feel.

Three magnetic closures let you resize the opening to fit whatever strand you're carrying - move the fold to any of the three points depending on the size of your juzu. It suits a doubled women's strand or a man's single strand equally well. Note: this pouch uses neodymium magnets; if you wear a pacemaker or another implanted electronic medical device, please avoid this product.
