Moonstone, also known as lunar feldspar, takes its name from the milky white bands that appear across its surface once polished into a rounded shape. Its color ranges from colorless to white, gray, pale green, and pale blue, with a signature bluish-white sheen – known as the Schiller effect – reflecting off the stone's curved surface, glowing especially bright and blue when light catches it in a darker setting. As the birthstone for June, moonstone is believed to ward off evil spirits and remains a highly popular stone among collectors and connoisseurs alike. Given its rarity, prayer beads crafted from this material are difficult to come by. Only one piece is available.
