A piece made with high-quality tourmaline in a variety of colors. Tourmaline comes in many colors: clear, red, yellow, green, blue, purple, brown, and black. Tourmaline is known to emit a faint electrical charge, and because it also emits negative ions, it's said to be a gentle, people-friendly stone. Tourmaline was once available in large quantities, but today prices have risen sharply, making it a very precious stone. The beads in this piece have a wonderfully soft texture with clear, vivid coloring. What makes this tourmaline especially special is that it includes three beads of vividly colored pink tourmaline — a very rare material that has been hard to source recently.
