A men's strand in the Soto Zen sect style, finished in the shaku-ni length as a limited edition piece. The main beads are yakusugi cedar, cut only from fallen trees of Yakushima's UNESCO World Heritage old-growth cedar forest, prized for its fine, tightly packed grain that deepens in color with use. Natural amber, valued for its clear, richly transparent quality, is used for the parent bead, top bead, and facing bead (mukaidama).
