Among the many varieties of bodhi seed -- including Starry Moon and Dragon Eye bodhi -- Indian bodhi seed is considered the king of them all, prized for its rarity. It grows only at high altitude and in limited quantity, making it difficult to source consistently; new stock can only be offered when it becomes available, so this is a strictly one-of-a-kind piece. The seed itself is extremely hard, with the gentle, distinctive texture of a nut in the hand. Here it is paired with Dushan jade for a calm, composed finish, with an unusually large main bead measuring roughly 20mm.
