Starry Moon Bodhi seeds, gathered on Hainan Island in China, take their name from the many small dark spots on the seed's surface (the "stars") and the single larger mark where the seed once joined its stem (the "moon"), and are said to represent the Buddhist cosmos. This piece uses deeper-colored (less yellow), higher-grade seeds than usual, finished with genuine natural amber for an elegant, one-of-a-kind piece.
