This men's prayer beads set is made from tetsurin ironwood, a dense hardwood grown widely across Thailand, India, and other parts of Asia. Its grain is somewhat coarse but takes on a beautiful luster when polished, ranking alongside rosewood and ebony as one of the classic hardwoods prized for furniture and Buddhist altars. It is paired with citrine for the parent bead, whose bright yellow creates a striking contrast with the wood's understated dark tone, finished with a golden-brown tassel to complement the citrine.
