This piece features larimar with an especially deep, vivid color, a rarity these days, sourced by our artisan when the opportunity arose. Larimar, also known as blue pectolite, is one of the world's three great healing stones (alongside charoite and sugilite), and is considered a top-tier power stone among them. Larimar is an exceptionally rare stone, found only at the Barahona mine in the southern Dominican Republic; as the mine has been nearly exhausted, it has become increasingly difficult to obtain. Available in limited quantity.
