Fenugreek Incense Material – Chips & Powder
Fenugreek Incense Material – Chips & Powder
Reiryokou (fenugreek) is a traditional incense material known for its pronounced aromatic presence and distinctive character.
Known in English as fenugreek, reiryokou is prepared from the dried whole plant of a perennial species belonging to the primrose family. The plant is native to regions such as India and Iran, and the Japanese name reiryokou is derived from historical records associated with its distribution in China.
As an aromatic material, reiryokou is recognized for its notably strong and sweet scent. Because of its intensity, it is typically used in small amounts and plays a supportive role when blended with other incense materials, helping to shape the overall profile rather than acting as a base.
Fenugreek is widely known in culinary traditions, but it has also appeared in historical fragrance and aromatic contexts. In incense blending, reiryokou contributes a distinctive accent that can influence the character of a formulation when combined thoughtfully with other ingredients.
This product is offered exclusively as a material for incense making. Please note that it is not intended for food use and should be used only for incense crafting.
Chips (Cut Form)
