sizuro Japanese Woods by Nippon Kodo is a collection of Japanese aromatic woods designed to be gently warmed using an incense burner or an electric incense warmer. Rather than burning, the woods are heated to release their natural fragrance, allowing the character of each material to be appreciated slowly and quietly.

Inspired by mountains and forests, this selection expresses traditional Japanese woody scents rooted in nature. Hinoki cypress, hiba arborvitae, and camphor wood are lightly scented with essential oils distilled from the same region to help the aroma expand while remaining true to the original material.

Included Woods

Aomori Hiba (3 g)
A fresh and vivid fragrance in which transparent bitterness and gentle acidity harmonize with the soft sweetness of wood. Moist and clear in character, it conveys a refreshing sense of natural vitality.

Kiso Hinoki Cypress (3 g)
A calming and uplifting woody aroma with subtle acidity and bitterness balanced by bright, clean timber notes. Refreshing and comforting, it evokes the soothing atmosphere of a hinoki forest.
