Mukusa no Takimono: Six Classical Incense Themes from the Heian Period

Mukusa no Takimono is a series inspired by the six traditional blended incense themes passed down since the Heian period. Rooted in classical kneaded incense traditions, each fragrance reflects a seasonal sensibility that has been appreciated for centuries in Japanese incense culture.

These classical fragrance themes have been reimagined in an easy-to-use stick form, allowing their seasonal expressions to be enjoyed in a more accessible way. The series is available as a six-fragrance set as well as individual single-fragrance options, making it possible to experience the collection either as a complete cycle or through a preferred scent.

The six-fragrance set contains a total of 30 incense sticks, with 5 sticks of each scent. Individual single-fragrance options are offered with 20 sticks per scent, suitable for those who wish to enjoy a particular theme more fully in everyday use.
