Jasper is an aggregate of quartz mixed with impurities, giving it a diverse range of colors; this pink variety shows fine layering when viewed closely, similar in tone and texture to rhodonite. A calm, understated pink well suited to those who prefer subtle color. Made in the Rinzai sect style, whose formal prayer beads traditionally number 108 beads and, unlike the Soto sect style, have no metal ring.
