A translucent, wisteria-toned strand in lavender amethyst. Amethyst forms from crystal that gradually deepens toward purple further inside the raw stone, and lavender amethyst refers specifically to the paler zone just before that deeper purple -- rarer, and more valuable, than standard amethyst. Its soft, composed lavender suits any age. Made up in Soto Zen sect style.
