This women's prayer beads set is made entirely of wisteria cloud amethyst (fujiun-seki), a pale, whitish variety of amethyst long valued as a protective charm, finished with a wisteria tassel in the "Niso Hokke" style used by women within the Nichiren (Hokke) sect: three tassels on one side of the parent bead and ten kyoshu-dama counting beads.
