About Cherry Amber

Cherry amber gets its rich, deep wine-red color from reddish plant matter that becomes concentrated within the resin as it forms. Amber comes in many varieties, including tiger amber and green amber, but cherry amber's calm, wine-red tone makes it a piece that suits any age. For anyone who finds the classic yellow of amber, or the black-and-yellow pattern of tiger amber, not quite to their taste, cherry amber is an excellent alternative. Like other ambers, it is prized for being remarkably light and comfortable to wear for long periods. Each bead in this set has been finished with a faceted 'window' cut.
