This formal, high-end bracelet is made entirely of Tenjiku bodhi seed, a rare nut grown in the region between China and India, prized as the "king" of bodhi seeds. Its shell has a distinctive cork-like texture, and splitting the seed reveals a heart-shaped hollow inside; because of this hollow, only a limited number of beads can be cut from each seed, and harvesting it is difficult, making it a scarce material. Sized to an inner diameter of approximately 18.5 cm for the Jodo sect.
