We are pleased to offer this bracelet in the rare 'aged amber' (rou-kohaku), presented here in a generous 10mm bead size. Aged amber refers to amber that has crystallized over an even longer span of time than ordinary amber. Amber's characteristic yellow deepens toward orange as heat is gradually applied over long periods, and this aged amber began as a pale yellow that has slowly shifted toward a warm orange as the years — and gentle geothermal heat — have passed.

A Calmer Alternative to Classic Amber

Some find the bright yellow of ordinary amber a bit too bold; this aged amber's softer orange tone lends a quieter, more understated accent to the wrist. Amber is also extremely lightweight, making it comfortable to wear all day without fatigue.
