Kakkou-yu is a fragrant bath soak designed to allow its distinctive scent to unfold naturally during bathing. The composition is gentle to the skin and suitable for a wide range of users, from children to older adults.

When added to bathwater, Kakkou-yu creates a softly milky, slightly cloudy soak. This appearance comes from its carefully balanced ingredients, which contribute to a smooth and comfortable feel in the water. The bath soak offers a calm and pleasant bathing experience, allowing both fragrance and warmth to be enjoyed quietly.

Special attention was given to the fragrance itself during development. In cooler seasons, Kakkou-yu creates a comforting bath time filled with gentle warmth and aroma, while in warmer seasons its clean and refreshing scent allows for a light, pleasant soak. This fragrant bath soak is designed for year-round enjoyment as part of daily bathing rituals.

Kakkou-yu was created from a wish to care for family. Its origin traces back to Tanaka, the president of Osagawa Nisaburo Shoten, who wanted to create a gentle bath soak for his son, who was concerned about dry skin. Drawing upon kakko, an ingredient long valued in traditional practice, he developed Kakkou-yu with thoughtfulness and care. Initially shared only with a limited circle, the product gradually gained recognition through word of mouth and has grown into a well-loved offering.

Available Sets

Kakkou-yu 30-Day Set (Bonus Set)
A set containing 30 packets of Kakkou-yu, suitable for approximately 30 days of bathing.
